A big trend coming about these days is leaning towards buying these huge motorized scooters, which are called maxi motorized scooters, these scooters have engines that range in size from 250 all the way up to 840 cc and use way bigger frames and have bigger parts than the regular motorized scooters. In 1985 is actually when this trend began when the company by the name of Honda introduced the first huge scooter which was actually a 250 cc called the Elite then in 99 suzuki introduced the burgman 400. A few years later suzuki relaunched the burgman 650 motorized scooters. Piaggio, Yamaha, Aprilia, Kymco and many other companies throughout the motorized scooters industiries have also introduced motorized scooters with huge engine displacements ranging from 400 to 850 cc Honda's PS250 or Big Ruckus defies common scooter classification in that it has a step through that is super high and the scooter itself actually has no bodywork so it looks like some weird bike skeleton. Only time will tell how far motorized scooters will take us in this gas in fluxed time.

Gas powered motorized scooters are built to stand through the thick and thin and the toughest of times. If you become unable to walk because of a broken leg or some other ailment but you still want to be independant the gas powered motorized scooters are the bikes built for you. Gas motorized scooters are the highest quality of scooters, they are perfect for racing around or driving just to the store to pick up some brew or other type of stuff, usually when you go to the store you buy milk and eggs and motorized scooters are prefect for this. You will be so happy once you recieve your motorized scooters as they can be taken out of the box and you can start to ride them right away. Motorized scooters can be as good and better than any mopeds you will see on the road.

It actually had a sick fiberglass body and a pull cord to start the mechanism very similar to any lawn device such as a blower, weed eater or anything else. I think during those times most of the motorized scooters were started this way which is very cool. The topper had a 165 cc gas motor which had been taken from germany in a war reparations deal. It only went 40 mph and had no good braking system which made this type of motorized scooters very dangerous. During the time of its initiation it ony had a very few units that sold. Harley has not really produced a very man other motorized scooters but actually has some smaller ones in production such as shortster and the sprint.

It was sold with a 175 cc 2 stroke engine and some versions had the 250 cc 4 stroke twin.
